The Greenville Beautification Committee (GBC) is a non-partisan group made up of leaders and members from your local community, Community Partners of Greenville, and the Greenville Town Board. In partnership with the Town of Greenville and other community organizations, GBC seeks to enhance Greenville public buildings and spaces through a variety of projects.
To coordinate with the Town of Greenville, a member of GBC attends the monthly Town Board meeting on the third Monday of each month and reports on current projects involving town parks or buildings such as Prevost Hall renovations and Greenville Day Weekend. The Beautification Committee also assists the town on a volunteer basis with grant writing and historical building projects. Past beautification projects include installation of historic lampposts, benches, and large flower planters in the hamlets of Greenville and Freehold. Ongoing activities include providing hanging baskets and banners for the historic lampposts.
