Want to help shape the future of Greenville? Have ideas for attracting new businesses to Greenville? Get involved in the 2025 review of the Town's Comprehensive Plan.
CPOG is a sponsor of the Town of Greenville's grant to review its Comprehensive Plan, first developed in 2008 and revised most recently in 2021. The review is led by the Town's Planning board and a committee that includes members of Community Partners of Greenville and other interested parties.
Past support for community efforts from CPOG volunteers date back to the initial acquisition of Vanderbilt Park and the development of the trails and ball fields. Over time, CPOG contributed funds to the dog park, softball fields, electrical wiring upgrades, pavilion bathroom, trail improvements, ATV park maintenance vehicle, and other trail maintenance equipment. CPOG's most current annual report of activities and membership renewal letter will be published in April 2025.
